ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, March 10, 2009 - The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Great "I") announced today that the Big "I" Virtual University will be presenting in two parts webinar on certificates of insurance on March 19 and April 16 at 2:00 pm Eastern.
"The independent agency system has been characterized by unreasonable and often too heavy applications for certificates of insurance and related documents, and it is increasingly out of control," says Madelyn Flannagan, Big "I" Vice President for education and research. "Owners, general contractors, lenders, and owners are requirements that agents and insurers simply can not comply with legally or practically.
