TNC Management Group, the strategy, project management, and analytics consulting firm focused on the insurance industry, announced today the appointment of Aamer Mumtaz as Director of Business Analytics. TNC also announced the formation of an exclusive partnership with Adventity Inc., a leading global Knowledge Services provider based in New York, NY.
Over the past 12 years, Mr. Mumtaz has advised a wide range of clients globally in the analytical use of data for evidence-based decisions in various areas such as: strategy development and implementation, operational improvement, organizational design, and strategic planning. He specializes in the use of information assets to deliver high impact bottom- and top-line results in insurance operations. Prior to joining TNC as Director of the Midwest Region in June 2008, Mr. Mumtaz owned his own consulting firm. He has also served as a principal consultant at PA Consulting Group and a Senior Manager at Mitchell Madison Group. Mr. Mumtaz holds a BS and a BA from Stanford University, and an MBA from Yale University's School of Management.
In related news, TNC has partnered with Adventity, Inc. for the provision of back-end analytical and modeling solutions, including a committed team based in India, and a support staff in North America. Adventity, headquartered in New York, is a market-leading advanced analytics provider to the insurance industry, offering comprehensive, innovative and cost effective solutions for both commercial and personal P&C carriers. Adventity's team of statisticians and engineers are experts in a range of areas, including state-of-the-art techniques in data modeling, segmentation, optimization, and forecasting.
"The insurance industry is clearly starting to realize the value of predictive modeling and data analytics for improving business decision-making and key operations," says Frank Cacchione, CEO, TNC Management Group. "Unlocking the full value of analytical services for this industry, however, is not easy; there are considerable challenges around organizational change management and the need for cost effectiveness. With the help of our partners at Adventity, our highly experienced insurance consulting staff, and very low overhead, TNC is able to address these challenges effectively."
Cacchione added, "We are excited about Aamer and our offshore analytical partners, Adventity, helping us serve our clients with the highly sophisticated analytical solutions they need at a price that others can't beat."
"Adventity is thrilled with this partnership," said Sankar Krishnan, Managing Director, Adventity. "We strongly believe that this will create a unique best of breed solution that meets the evolving analytical needs of the insurance industry."
