Enstar Group Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Knapton Holdings Limited, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire British Engine Insurance Limited, a provider of reinsurance services, from RSA Insurance Group plc, a UK-based provider of insurance products and services, for GBP28 million.

Enstar Group is a Bermuda-based insurance and reinsurance holding company.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2009.
