Bartlett,Sullivan to discuss economic impact of Chili Bowl

Mayor Dewey Bartlett and Congressman John Sullivan meet with organizers of the 24th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa to discuss the event’s economic impact on the Tulsa area.

The Chili Bowl Nationals are held each winter in the QuikTrip Center at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.

According to event organizers, 90 percent of the 263 entries are from out of state, as are 86 percent of ticket holders.

Last year, QuikTrip collected around $450,000 in concession sales.
