Emerging talent with 5 Grand Prix Safety Belt Poster Geico

Five students were selected as winners of the grand prix 1500students who entered the 22nd annual PosterContest Geico belt:


Jesse Paul, Florida, won the computer-generated poster category. Hiscomic Band seatbelt super hero saving the life of a young Manis a unique way to spread the message of seat belts.

Eunice Seo, Virginia, won the national title in the 16-18 years GroupBy pledge a "promise of life" buckling with createher paint a picture of a street and winding route.

Nahún Kim, Virginia, led everyone in the age group 12-15 years. Hertheme - the path of safety belt - has been posted by the talent of a cartoon boysafely buckling his seat belt.

Nihit Chavan, New Jersey, won the 9-11 age group for the creation of a safetymaze with signs and safety of a family of complete themaze attached.

Brandon Kim, Virginia, took the honors in the 6-8 age group for hisartwork which included a safety belt as a weapon of protection to monitor Acar drivers.

"Each year, the grand prize winners to continue to surprise me," said TonyNicely, Geico chairman. "It is inspiring to know that students are acrossthe country supporting the message of seat belt. If we canreach students at a young age, hopefully we will be able to adifference.


Geico national awards each winner $ 650 and their schools $ 500for art supplies and materials.


Geico has also provided another 92 students with cash prizes ranging from $ 150 to $ 50 for income honors in their regional competitions.


Serving as judges this year's competition were Sharp Syrett of theNational Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Suzie Angulo theInsurance of the Institute for Highway Safety and Chris Noel of particles, agraphic design firm.
