The manufacturer has announced anyone with an Mk 1 or Mk 2 Punto will be entitled to free front brake pads and rear brake shoes for as long as they own their cars.
It pointed out there are in excess of 500,000 examples of this model on UK roads and owners will be able to take up this offer at all of its 197 service centres.
The company also revealed people owning any of its cars can pop in for free brake and battery checks.
Motorists who end up buying a new battery will additionally be entitled to have it fitted at no cost.
Drivers interested in any of these offers have been advised to contact Fiat before the end of June 2009.
Vehicle owners who take good care of their brakes may reduce their chances of being involved in an accident, thereby helping to protect their low cost motor insurance.
