Allstate to Re-Enter Auto Insurance Market in Massachusetts

Allstate Insurance Company has filed rates and policy forms with the Massachusetts Division of Insurance to re-enter the Massachusetts auto insurance market.

The company has targeted November 2, 2009 as its open-for-business date. According to Allstate, Massachusetts auto insurance customers will have the opportunity to select its Your Choice Auto suite of auto insurance products.

George Ruebenson, president of Allstate Protection, said: "People are looking for value and choice. As a company with a solid reputation and a national presence, Allstate will provide Massachusetts consumers with additional automobile insurance choices from an established insurance provider."
