Kwik Fit Insurance Reports Increase in Car and Home Policy S

GLASGOW, Scotland, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading UK insurance intermediary Kwik Fit Insurance has reported that sales of car insurance leapt by almost a third in May in comparison with the same month last year. Its presence in the home insurance market continued to grow with policy sales rising by nearly a quarter in the same comparative period.

Sales of new car insurance policies at the Uddingston-based intermediary were up 31 percent compared with May 2008, with 21,000 new car insurance policies sold in May 2009 alone. Home insurance sales continue to increase with 4,000 new policies taken out, an increase of 23 percent on May 2008.
