Allianz creates centralised motor team

Allianz Insurance has created a specialist motor insurance team and centralised its commercial motor trade claims operation in the wake of a successful pilot period of the scheme.

The new team, which is to be based in Birmingham, will enhance turnaround time by presenting a single point of notification and will offer customers top flight customer service.

Members of the motor team have undergone specialist training, taking advantage of Allianz’s underwriting team to develop the capability to handle motor, motor personal injury, material damage and casualty claims.

Claims director Graham Gibson has described the move as part of Allianz’s ongoing drive to continually improve the offering customers can enjoy, and that a one-to-one approach will prove of benefit to customers in the motor claims department.

The new team will deliver more rapid and efficient service, Gibson went on to say.
