RED BANK, N.J., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Teachers' Insurance Plan of NJ announced today that effective June 27, 2009 its customers will be able to take advantage of a complimentary new roadside assistance benefit. First Class Roadside Assistance will cover all Teachers' customers with a comprehensive package of benefits and services -- for no additional cost.
"With First Class Roadside Assistance, our customers can travel the country knowing that 'we have their backs' in the case of an emergency," stated Marc V. Buro, President of Teachers Auto Insurance Company of New Jersey. "This package of benefits and services far surpasses traditional insurance company programs. We are thrilled to be able to bring this new benefit to our customers for free," he said.
First Class Roadside Assistance provides towing service for disabled vehicles as well as emergency fluid delivery, lock out services, battery jump start, and travel concierge services to help customers secure lodging and transportation arrangements should they encounter car trouble while far from home.
The benefits of the new First Class Roadside Assistance plan are available to all Teachers' Insurance customers effective June 27th. Beginning this Fall, the company will automatically remove the optional towing coverage from each policy at renewal. Customers wishing to have their towing coverage removed sooner than that are invited to call Teachers' Insurance at 1-866-NJ-TEACH and the company's customer service representatives will gladly process such requests.
"Teachers' Insurance is fast becoming the car insurance company of choice for New Jersey educators," claimed Buro. "Our competitive rates, the Quotes for Cash partnerships with over 60 school districts, our specialized coverage for educators, and now our free First Class Roadside Assistance provides more value and benefits than other companies."
"Other companies seem to have lost focus on what matters lately. We stick to what we know best and continue to keep it simple! Teachers' Insurance's sole focus is providing an excellent auto insurance value for members of the New Jersey educational community," stated Buro. "As a customer of ours you'll never have to worry about whether we'll become side tracked by the comings and goings of the international financial markets. Our focus remains squarely placed between Belmar and Trenton; High Point and Cape May Court House. Auto insurance exclusively focused on members of the New Jersey educational community -- that's our only mission," Buro said.
About Quotes for Cash
Through Quotes for Cash, money is donated into a fund each time a school employee of a participating school or district receives a quote on NJ auto insurance with Teachers' Insurance Plan of NJ. For districts that are involved, there is an additional component that includes scholarships and grants. Since its inception in 2007, the program has generated more than $50,000 for local schools. For more information about Quotes for Cash, contact Joseph Sansotta at 732- 978-6420.
Teachers Auto Insurance Company of New Jersey provides auto insurance exclusively to the faculty and staff (active and retired) of New Jersey licensed educational facilities. Studies show that educators as a group are lower risk and have fewer claims, so Teachers' Insurance Plan of NJ can offer lower rates than insurance companies who insure everybody.
