CLEVELAND, July 1 / PRNewswire / - According to Insurance.com 's RateWatch of auto insurance, the average annual auto insurance rates have increased in June 2009 to $ 1884 after 4 months of steady decline in interest rates. The moderate increase is always good news for drivers who paid more than $ 1982 in October 2008. However, consumers affected by the economy should carefully monitor the bills for their renewal.
"It is unlikely rates significantly in the second half of the year," said Saturday Belden, Vice President at Insurance.com. "Before you start up rates, consumers should invest 30 to 60 minutes comparing prices of automobile insurance. Switching can save thousands of dollars in the long term."
