State Farm is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Mican as Vice President of Operations for State Farm Canada. Ms. Mican returns to Canada having spent the last 3 years in a variety of roles at State Farm's Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington Illinois. Ms. Mican began her career in 1987 and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility including Human Resources, Learning and Development and in 2004, she became the Property & Casualty Operations Manager for Canada.

In 2006, Ms. Mican accepted an opportunity to work at State Farm's Corporate Headquarters as a Property & Casualty Claims Director and then as an Executive Assistant in the Chairman's Office. Ms. Mican is a graduate of the University of Toronto and she has both her Chartered Insurance Professional designation and the Certified Human Resources Professional designation.
