Car insurance: no rate increase for customers Maaf in 2010

Good news for motorists who have purchased their insurance from the Maaf: the premium they pay in 2010 will remain unchanged. Sixème is the year that the insurer does not reassess its rates. That translates, according Maaf, a decrease of 1.5% of the contribution in 2010 compared to 2009 and a fall in average premium of 11% since 2004.

This stability in prices for cars, of course, but also motorcycles, trucks and campers.

The insurer, which provides 3.8 million vehicles, partly explains this decision by the drop in road accidents, considered as "structural and sustainable". The latest report to the accident of Road Safety, Accident injury in 2008 decreased by 8.3% for the seventh consecutive year.
