Private passenger auto insurer Government Employees Insurance Company has appointed Mike Campbell as Senior Vice President and CFO of the company.



Mr. Campbell joined the Insurance Company Government Employees (Geico) in 1982 as manager of the company financial reports and was promoted to director of financial reporting of companies in 1985. He became a partner controller in 1986 and was appointed Vice President in 2003. Mr. Campbell was elected to the Board of Directors Geico in 2005. Tony Nicely, CEO of Geico, said: "Mike is a great analytical mind and knows of our finances and on the inside. In his new role as CFO, Mike will continue to build our financial strength as it has throughout his 27 year career. Mike also became a member of the management policy and strategy of the team. "
