Coffee taste insured language
A matter of taste led to the UK, Costa Coffee to the organization that brewed non risk coverage at a cafe in London.
The company based in London, said he took a Ø10 million ($ 14.2 million) policy on what he described in a statement as `` probably the most valuable of the world belonging to the language Gennaro Pelliccia'', his master of Italian coffee.
Costa Coffee last week said it has placed coverage through Lloyd's of London broker Glencairn Ltd based on a survey that showed his well cappuccino beat competitors by a margin of 3-1 better in tests taste.
Mr. Pelliccia personally each batch of samples of raw materials before they are roasted coffee beans and they are sent to stores, the company said.
`` In my profession, my taste buds and sensory skills are essential,''said Pelliccia. `` My taste buds allow me to distinguish all the faults, which allows me to protect and ensure the Costa unique Mocha Italia blend.''
The insurance covers a `` vital part of the company,''the company said.
The company has a taste test to obtain such coverage, the London Telegraph reported. In 1993, British food critic Egon Ronay has released a œ250, 000 ($ 353,775) insurance policy on his taste buds.
While the politics of Mr. Pelliccia Mr. Ronay certainly advantages, it is much shorter than soccer player David Beckham said Ø40 million ($ 56.6 million) over the policy of its legs.
