NBIS Develops Construction, Transport Insurance Program with

Atlanta-based managing general underwriter NBIS, NationsBuilders Insurance Services, Inc., has launched a Heavy Construction and Transport Insurance Program in partnership with specialty insurer Tower Group Companies of New York.
According to NBIS Executive Vice President Kevin Cunningham, the two firms have developed a multiline, risk management-based platform to better serve customers, agents and brokers.
NBIS specializes in insurance program administration for the heavy construction equipment and related transport industries and in the residential builders' and contractors' marketplace. It has operations in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago and San Diego.
Tower provides property/casualty insurance for a range of risks, from preferred to non-standard including excess and surplus lines.
