Travelers Cos. announced two executive appointments in its personal lines business operations.
Doreen Spadorcia will assume the additional duties of chief executive officer of personal lines. Spadorcia is also CEO of claims services, Travelers said in a statement.
Greg Toczydlowski has been promoted to executive vice president and president of personal lines. Joseph P. Lacher Jr., formerly the executive vice president, is leaving the company, Travelers said.

Toczydlowski has been with Travelers since 1990, holding various positions of increasing responsibility in personal insurance.
The Travelers Group currently has a Best's Financial Strength Rating of A+ (Superior).
