The AMBG closed Thursday, Aug. 27, at 787.72 (-0.10%). Of the 15 A.M. Best stock indexes, nine rose and six declined. Leading A.M. Best's Global Insurance Composite Index (AMBG) were American International Group Inc. (+26.93%) and National Security Group (+9.93%). Trailing the list of global insurance stocks were Hansard Global (-3.07%) and China Taiping Insurance Holdings Co. Ltd. (-2.90%).
