Conservatives Gather at the Capitol to Criticize the Overhaul on Family Health Insurance

Conservatives gathered at the Capitol yesterday to criticize the overhaul of the country's family health insurance. FamilyHealthInsurance.net believes people need affordable family health insurance and provides a service for people to search for family medical insurance (http://www.familyhealthinsurance.net).
The Wall Street Journal published an article on Saturday with interviews from a group traveling from Tallahassee, Florida to the Capitol to protest changes to family medical insurance. Of the fifty-four people traveling to the Capitol, fifty-one said they voted for John McCain and the remaining three voted for Libertarian Bob Barr. The average age of the group was 56 years old with one of the group being 73 years old - just a few short years or well into the years of qualifying for Medicare, a government health care program financed taxpayer dollars.
This article cited that the almost uniform diagnosis of the problems in the country are that the current administration and congressional democrats are spending too much money on programs that insert the government too much into people's lives.
As President Barack Obama recently stated in his address about family medical insurance and reform, the plan would cost an estimated $900 billion. This would still be, according to President Obama, "less than we have spent on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and less than the tax cuts for the wealthiest few Americans that Congress passed at beginning of the previous administration."
In addition, the health care proposal would allow Americans to keep their current coverage if they wish but will also offer a public plan as small part of an overall plan. This public option would offer affordable family health insurance (http://www.familyhealthinsurance.net/affordable-family-health-insurance.html) for those currently with or without coverage.
The proposal would also create an "insurance exchange," which would allow small businesses and individuals to bargain for insurance collectively to find more competitive prices. The plan would bar insurance companies from denying coverage due to pre-existing conditions and would prohibit annual and lifetime caps on the coverage recipients can receive. The plan would also impose limits on out-of-pocket expenses.
