High-risk health insurance pools

If you’ve been denied health coverage because of a pre-existing health condition, you may be eligible to join your state’s high risk pool. These pools were created by state governments to provide coverage for people who have trouble getting private insurance because of health status.
Not every state has a high risk pool. The states that do are listed below:
