Indonesian Health Insurer Askes Reports Us$50 Mln Q1 Net Profit

Indonesian state owned health insurance for civil servants PT Askes reported Rp428 billion (US$50 million) in net profit in the first quarter of his year.
Askes' president I Gede Subawa described the performance as excellent without giving figure for comparison in the same period last year.
Subawa said this year the company sets profit target at Rp1.6 trillion with investment income expected to reach Rp1.1 trillion.
The profit target would be achieved if income from investment would reach Rp1.1 trillion as expected, he said yesterday.
