Medical examiners conducted an autopsy on a Freddie Mac executive has been found dead in an apparent suicide, but said a final decision on the cause of his death could be weeks.
David Kellermann Vienna, Va., was found dead at his home Wednesday. The police, it appeared that the 41-year, Chief Financial suicide.
Nancy Bull, the regional administrator of the examiner's office said Thursday the final decision will not be made until all laboratory results were received. But she said the preliminary findings are consistent with a suicide.
A law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity told the Associated Press that Kellermann was hanged. He asked not to be identified because the investigation was ongoing.
