PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group Inc. (NYSE:RDN), announced today that it has completed the expansion of its sales force with the addition of 13 local account managers. The new hires are based in strategically located regions throughout the United States - including Alaska - making Radian the only mortgage insurer with a local sales presence in that state.

New account managers will be responsible for maintaining relationships with local clients in their assigned territories, as well as developing new business opportunities. The hires include:

• Tim Allen: Account Manager (Mississippi and Alabama)
• Cassaundra (Cassie) Brenden, three years of mortgage experience: Account Manager (Minnesota, Minneapolis, North Dakota and South Dakota)
• Carey Buckley, 17 years sales experience: Account Manager (Connecticut and Western/Central Massachusetts)
• Phyllis Cox, 23 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Hawaii)
• Brooke Keitel, seven years of mortgage experience: Account Manager (Oregon and Southern Washington)
• Pamela Ormsby-Ripley, 29 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Houston, Texas)
• Laureen Potter, more than 20 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Western and Central Pennsylvania)
• Stephan Poulson, eight years of mortgage experience: Account Manager (Southern California)
• Ray Rodriquez, 15 years of sales experience: Regional Account Manager (New York, Vermont and Northern New Jersey)
• Bryan Setlik, 14 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Iowa and Nebraska)
• Shari Spiess, more than 25 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Washington)
• Kellie Steger, more than 20 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Virginia)
• Michelle Weiss, 12 years of sales experience: Account Manager (Alaska)

In addition, Karla Martinet, a 15-year member of Radian's sales force, will move from her current post in Southern California to Dallas, Texas, serving as Regional Account Manager for the company's Texas team beginning June 1, 2009.
