Mr. Miller replaces Dr. Marc Miller, SeaBright's Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, who has also served as COO at THM since its acquisition by SeaBright in December, 2007. With the arrival of Jeffrey Miller, Dr. Miller will return to a single focus on the ongoing strategic and tactical management of SeaBright's significant medical expenditures incurred by its policyholders' injured workers. Mr. Miller and Dr. Miller are not related.
Jeffrey Miller comes to THM with over 30 years experience in the insurance managed care, healthcare and financial services industries. He brings with him specific expertise in business process outsourcing, reengineering and Six Sigma quality initiatives. Mr. Miller received a B.A. degree from California State University - Fullerton, and an MBA from the University of St. Francis.
Richard Seelinger, Senior Vice President of Policyholder Services for SeaBright Insurance Company and CEO of THM, said "The addition of Jeff Miller to THM's senior management bears strong witness to the firm's strategic value to SeaBright Insurance Holdings."
