Jul 09, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- US-based Farmers New World Life Insurance Company has appointed Katherine Cody as its senior vice president and CFO.

Most recently, Ms Cody was responsible for The Phoenix Companies's emerging growth line alternative retirement solutions.

Paul Patsis, CEO of Farmers Life and executive vice president of Farmers Group, said: "Kathy brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services and accounting to the CFO position at Farmers New World Life Insurance Company.
