In yet another effort to make it easier for consumers to find health insurance online, GoHealthInsurance.com recently launched an interactive U.S. map where users can browse health insurance plans available in their state in only two clicks.

"Through online feedback, we found that many of the consumers who visit GoHealthInsurance.com want to refine their search for a health plan by state before they even consider getting a quote," said Oswaldo Medina, the Manager of Web Design at GoHealthInsurance.com.

"Because of this, we needed a better, more interactive design to make browsing health insurance plans by state much easier," added Medina.

When a health insurance shopper chooses their state in the Adobe Flash-based map, they can compare quotes with agents licensed in their state, view plans instantly and apply online for coverage, and read in-depth information about health insurance in their state.

According to Medina, a high percentage of consumers want to search plans specifically in their state because health insurance laws can vary considerably throughout the country. Certain types of coverage are also generally only available on a state-by-state basis.


In fact, compared to all the many other ways consumers can explore health plans on GoHealthInsurance.com, the "Search by State" link is by far one of the most popular methods. This new tool makes their search even more convenient, said Medina.
