Fitch Confirms Yavapai Regional Medical Center's Series 1997B & 2002 Bonds at 'BBB+'; Outlook Stable

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fitch Ratings confirms its underlying 'BBB+' rating on approximately $16.4 in outstanding Industrial Development Authority of the County of Yavapai Hospital revenue bonds (Yavapai Regional Medical Center) series 1997B, and the approximately $6.4 million in outstanding Arizona Health Facilities Authority hospital revenue bonds, series 2002. The Rating Outlook is Stable.

This rating action is being taken in connection with the conversion of mode to fixed rate from variable on the 1997B and 2002 variable-rate demand bonds, expected to be effective on or about Aug. 13, 2009.

The 1997B and 2002 bonds will continue to carry an insurance policy provided by Financial Security Assurance, Inc. (FSA), which currently has a Fitch Insurer Financial Strength rating of 'AA+' on Rating Watch Negative.

The rating for the series 2002 bond was originally entered in Fitch's ratings database under the issuer Industrial Development Authority of the County of Yavapai.
