MedImpact Contracts as Pharmacy Benefit Manager for State of Arizona

With the award to MedImpact, ADOA is building on the success of its self-funded program. MedImpact will help the organization deliver comprehensive prescription coverage to its members and overall cost savings to the State of Arizona. The MedImpact implementation team is already in place and their comprehensive planning and efficient execution will assist ADOA in launching services effective October 1, 2009.
ADOA is the agency responsible for administration and oversight of the State employee benefits program. Under the new contract, MedImpact will provide pharmacy benefit services to more than 130,000 State of Arizona employees and retirees.

The contract covers a comprehensive range of pharmacy benefit services, including: innovative consumer and clinical programs, formulary management, claims processing, rebate management, member services, and other custom services.
