Potrero Media Studies User Behavior on Auto Insurance Sites

Potrero Media, a leading performance-based marketing agency, announced positive feedback from a user study designed to gauge consumer interaction with its portfolio of auto insurance sites. Over 90% of consumers in the study indicated that the sites met their auto insurance shopping needs. Having recently expanded its offering in the automotive insurance vertical, Potrero's top priority is ensuring consumer satisfaction with the user experience.
In order to gather actionable feedback, Potrero Media conducted a user study to measure consumer interaction with their suite of auto insurance sites. The study measured general site usability, time spent on different areas of the site, consumer impressions of content and design, and consumer interaction with the request form. By gathering both qualitative and quantitative feedback, Potrero Media is dialing in on exactly how to best serve their shopping audience. According to one of the study participants, "The site's educational articles helped me answer the questions I had while shopping around, and the site design made it clear what I'd be getting by submitting a quote request. It was quick, easy, and hassle-free to get exactly what I needed."
By talking directly to auto insurance shoppers, Potrero Media is able to create a more meaningful connection with its consumers. "Potrero Media's approach to online consumer marketing has always involved a lot of iteration," said Rodrigo DeGuzman, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Potrero Media. "Gathering feedback on user behavior is a key part of our strategy. Constant testing and innovation helps us perform at the top of the online marketing space, and we're committed to getting better all the time."
Staying in touch with the consumers' needs is a core focus for Potrero Media, which strives to serve both insurance clients and consumers equally. Providing a great consumer experience is integral to the results that Potrero Media's insurance clients enjoy with Potrero Media's services. This focus on the consumer is what makes Potrero Media's insurance leads so high in quality -- by educating and assisting shoppers, they're able to provide interested and knowledgeable prospects to clients. "Getting this type of feedback is great for us so that we can make the site everything our consumers want it to be," added DeGuzman. "After all, our ultimate goal is to arm consumers with the information they need to make the best decisions on the right auto insurance policy for them at the best price. Based on this study, we know we're headed in the right direction, and we know how to provide the right solutions in the auto insurance vertical."
