Azerbaijan delegation participated in the seminar, held in Basel (Switzerland) on the topic of Reinsurance and other risk transfer mechanisms.

The main topics of discussion at the seminar were monitoring reinsurance operations of insurers, financial stability and transparency of the reinsurance, securities, and insurance-related oversight issues in connection with the transfer of assets in securities, risk management, reinsurance, and risk control model, re-insurance in times of crisis.

Azerbaijan was represented at the seminar by acting Head of the State Insurance Supervision Service Namig Khalilov.
