Top Caterpillar Dealer Selects iFastrack to Help Reduce Insurance Risks

GG-One Software, Inc. today announced that Empire Southwest, Mesa, Arizona, has selected the iFastrack software to manage insurance certificates and contracts. Empire Southwest -- one of the top Caterpillar dealers in North America -- rents, sells and supports heavy equipment for the construction, agriculture and mining industries located in Arizona, Southeastern California and portions of Northern Mexico. iFastrack for the Web was selected to replace their current service to save money and improve vendor interaction and decision flexibility.
The iFastrack software allows companies to manage their risk from uninsured contractors, vendors or tenants easily over the Internet. In a time of increasing litigation and high damage awards, iFastrack helps minimize risk by efficiently tracking vendor contracts and insurance including expirations, coverage limits and other critical items! "The software is simple and easy to use. It provides us all the necessary tools to effectively manage vendor insurance certificates and in the long term will hopefully enhance our vendor management and relationships," says Dawn Chadwick, Empire Southwest Risk Manager.
"Most companies use contractors on a regular basis, but either don't manage their ongoing insurance compliance or trust this important risk management function to outside services that can be very expensive and inflexible," said Phyllis Recca, CEO of GG-One Software. "The need to manage insurance certificates can be handled easily with our software, which allows companies to set their own requirements and procedures as opposed to yielding to those of someone else. With iFastrack, companies can have access to easy-to-use, state-of-the-art software for tracking their insurance certificates and contracts from offices anywhere in the world."
GG-One Software's flagship Fastrack product has been used for over 15 years by major companies throughout all industries and has become a critical component of their risk management program. Most states require workers' compensation coverage and consider companies responsible for uninsured persons hired to perform work. Additionally, companies could be held responsible for substantial damages caused by uninsured contractors. The iFastrack software dramatically reduces exposure from non-employee work accidents and mistakes by providing automated review and notification of missing/expired policies, along with insuring that policy limits meet minimum requirements.
There is no reason for companies to assume the unnecessary and substantial risk of uninsured contractors. Implementing a comprehensive tracking system can limit their liabilities while improving efficiency, saving time, money and effort.
