Digital Insurance, which manages a market share of small group benefits business in the nation, announced it ranked among the top insurance firms on the Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
Digital said it is one of only six insurance companies honored for the third consecutive year; every year since the list's inception. For 2009, Digital ranked 20 in the insurance sector based on its 140.7 percent growth rate, a release said.
"In spite of the country's struggling economy and its impact on small businesses, which Digital exclusively serves, this company continues to thrive," said Adam Bruckman, president and chief executive officer of Digital Insurance. "Our associates' passion for providing real solutions to small employers, coupled with our operational scale, allows us to do more for customers nationwide. It creates a winning combination," he adds.
According to Jane Berentson, editor of Inc. magazine, "The Inc. 5000 list has served as evidence of the significant accomplishments of entrepreneurial companies. As an Inc. 5000 honoree, Digital Insurance shares a prestigious pedigree with some of the most successful businesses in America."
