The AMBG closed Thursday, Sept. 17 at 822.72 (-0.10%). Of the 15 A.M. Best stock indexes, four rose and 11 declined. Leading A.M. Best's Global Insurance Composite Index (AMBG) were Insure.com (+21.89%) and Atlantic American Corp. (+12.20%). Trailing the list of global insurance stocks were United American Healthcare (-9.09%) and Life Partners (-7.03%).
