Brit Insurance Deploys edge IPK's edgeConnect Presentation Platform

edge IPK, a provider of insurance solutions which enable a secure, browser-based, internationalized presentation layer to provide all distribution channels an ideal user experience, announced that Brit Insurance has selected an Enterprise License of edge IPK's edgeConnect open presentation platform as an element of its Britbord Service offering.

Brit Insurance said it will deploy edgeConnect to enable services and products for distribution to all brokers, policyholders and internal users who use its Britbord service. edgeConnect will provide the integration with a web interface to Brit Insurance's existing back office systems; delivering access to all internal and external users of Britbord.

"We chose edgeConnect to enable us to provide an offering as we develop the next generation of Britbord, our web-based system for selected brokers," Simon Cooter, UK Distribution Director at Brit Insurance, said. "Britbord's fully-customizable offering, which has seen a significant increase in broker usage, is a key part of our e-trading proposition, particularly in the micro SME area."
