The American Red Cross is providing aid to Georgia residents and communities as they recover from recent storms which caused devastating flooding last week.
"Our hearts go out to the victims of this disaster as they work to rebuild their lives and communities in the wake of the recent severe weather," said Terrance Williams, regional vice president of southern states for Nationwide Insurance. "We have confidence that our longtime partner, American Red Cross, will make the most of these funds to provide assistance to the communities hardest hit by last week's storms."
Previously this year, the Nationwide Insurance Foundation said that it donated $1.7 million to the American Red Cross to support national and local preparedness and response initiatives across the country and to fund three new blood collection vehicles.
The Nationwide Insurance Foundation is an independent corporation funded by contributions from Nationwide companies, including Nationwide Insurance.
