BRIEF: Swine flu clinic set for Saturday

THOUSAND OAKS -- A Thousand Oaks medical group will hold a swine flu vaccination clinic on Saturday.

Arroyo Oaks Medical Associates received about 1,500 injectable doses of vaccine on Monday and will distribute it on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to noon outside the clinic, 2230 Lynn Road.

The vaccination will be available to anyone in the following categories: people ages 6 months to 24 years, pregnant women, people ages 25 to 64 who have high-risk medical conditions and caretakers and household contacts of infants younger than 6 months old.

People should bring identification and those who qualify because of medical conditions should bring a prescription or note from a doctor. People should bring their insurance cards because their insurance provider will be billed a $25 administration fee.
