Tele Atlas Maps Plan for Pitney Bowes Business Insight

Tele Atlas, a supplier of digital maps and content for navigation and location-based solutions, and Pitney Bowes Business Insight, a supplier of data quality and location intelligence solutions, announced an agreement under which Pitney Bowes Business Insight will use Tele Atlas map data across its entire line of solutions, which are designed to help workflows and business systems.
In a release, the company noted that for more than 14 years, Tele Atlas and Pitney Bowes Business Insight have enabled powerful location intelligence applications for thousands of public and private organizations across a range of industries, including real estate, financial services, retail, restaurant, wireless, communications, insurance and government. Pitney Bowes Business Insight will leverage Tele Atlas' global digital map database and Tele Atlas Address Points, which pinpoint discrete, actual street addresses to physical buildings or property parcels and deliver one of the industry's most accurate methods for locating addresses.
Through the agreement, Pitney Bowes Business Insight will also leverage Tele Atlas' administrative product suite exclusively in the United States to enable tax determination applications. With precise location content, Pitney Bowes Business Insight customers can effectively implement critical business imperatives, including identifying potential clients for target marketing, demographic analysis for site selection, assessing risk management, and serving regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
