Anthem Blue Cross Joins Insurance Exchange

Anthem Blue Cross and CHOICE Administrators, Inc. have partnered to sell health insurance to small-employer purchasing groups that are members of the CaliforniaChoice small group program.

CaliforniaChoice is the largest health insurance exchange in the United States. Starting June 1, Woodland Hills-based Anthem and CHOICE, headquartered in the City of Orange, will offer HMO and PPO benefits for all new and renewing CaliforniaChoice employer groups.

Health Net, Kaiser Permanente, Sharp Health Plan and Western Health Advantage also provide coverage through the insurance exchange.
