Ritter Insurance Marketing announced the release of a new version of their Medicare Quote Engine.
In a release, the Company noted that this will allow insurance agents to quote Modernized Medicare Supplement plans in 39 states including the new Medigap plans M and N.
Ritter Insurance said that the Medicare Quote Engine (MQE) was enhanced to allow agents to select the effective date of coverage which enables MQE to automatically pick the right set of premium rates for that particular zip code (Standardized versus Modernized Medigap).
Craig Ritter, President said, "We are excited with the new enhancements to our Medicare Quote Engine. Undoubtedly, insurance agents will be busy researching the new options for their Medicare Eligible clients, including the new plans M and N. MQE allows agents to compare Medigap and Medicare Advantage options quickly. In addition, our side-by-side comparisons of Medicare Advantage benefit summaries are heavily used."
Ritter continues, "The new Health Care Reform bill (PPACA 2010) will impact the annual enrollment and open enrollment periods for Medicare. By eliminating the ability to enroll in Medicare Advantage during OEP, this shortens the agent's 'selling season' for Medicare Advantage from 20 weeks to just 7 weeks."
Ritter adds, "We believe the efficient use of technology is crucial in allowing Senior Market insurance agents to service existing clients and find new ones. As such, we are planning future enhancements to shorten the agent's sales cycle and reduce administrative burden."
Ritter concludes, "Agents who want to deliver the best results for their clients need to work with FMOs who are willing and able to provide technology solutions. These enhancements to MQE, along with our existing suite of value-added insurance agent resources, clearly shows our commitment."
