CHINA PACIFIC'S LIFE INSURANCE PREMIUMS RISE TO US$10.37BLN

China Pacific Insurance Co. (CPIC, SSE:601601, SEHK:02601) announced on Tuesday that its life insurance premiums hit 68.9 billion yuan (US$10.37 billion) in the first nine months of this year.
Its property insurance premiums totaled 39.1 billion yuan from January to September.
The insurer did not provide data for the same period of last year.
CPIC is China's third largest life insurance company after China Life Insurance (SEHK:2628, SSE:601628) and Ping An Insurance (SEHK: 2318, SSE:601318). It is also China's second largest property insurance company following PICC Property and Casualty (SEHK:2328).
