Indonesian Govt Injects Us$88.8 Mln Into Credit Insurance Firm

The fund will be used to increase the capacity of Askrindo to provide insurance protection for small business credits (KUR) this year.
The fund injection last month increased the government investment in Askrindo to Rp2.8 trillion, its president Antonius CS Napitupulu said.
This year, together with Perum Jaminan Kredit Indonesia, another state credit insurance firm, hope to provide protection for Rp20 trillion worth of small business credits, Napitupulu said
In the first 11 months of last year, the firms provided insurance protection for Rp25 trillion worth of KUR, he told he newspaper Investor Daily
