SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - The Internal Revenue Service to allow victims of Ponzi schemes flight deduct the losses in tax years 2008 and recover the taxes paid on income false, Senator Charles Schumer, D-NY , said Tuesday. Essentially, the measures are aimed at investors who have misappropriated the money over 50 billion by disgraced financier Bernard Madoff. Under the guidelines of the IRS, victims will be able to take a deduction equal to 95% of the amount they invested plus investment income, they believed they earn less any expected recovery of the from government or private insurance.
