As an insurance agent you need to make many important decisions throughout the day. One that is sure to be on your mind at all times is when to call consumers. Do you do this in the morning? In the evening when they may be home from work? Sometime in between? If you do not know how to answer this question you are going to find it difficult to get on schedule. While there is no “best” time to call every consumer you need to do what is going to give you the chance of making a sale.
The time you call a consumer should be dictated by the information you have on hand. For instance, if you purchase a group health insurance leadyou can start by calling at anytime and explaining where you received their information. If not home you can leave a message, and hope that you receive a return call.
Have you already spoken with a health insurance lead? During your first conversation you should always ask about the best time to talk. This way you will know when to pick up the phone in the future. If a consumer tells you that they are usually available at a certain time be sure to call them during this block of the day.
You can call a health lead whenever you want, but as you know, it is better to speak with a person than an answering machine. Do your best to get every lead on the phone, and then determine what works best for them in the future. And of course, be sure that every insurance lead knows that they can always call you to ask questions, etc.
For a limited time, InsuranceLeads.com is offering $200 worth of free health insurance lead products to agents who setup and activate an account.
