Memphis, TN (PRWEB) April 8, 2009 -- Settlements For Life, LLC (SFL) a national premier life settlement broker, announced today that they are seeking $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 life insurance policies for institutional market makers. These providers have received fresh infusions of capital from their banking sources, and have been directed to establish pools of money dedicated to smaller policies.
"It allows them to spread their risk," explains David Pryor, National Sales Manager. "Large batches of smaller policies lower the carrier and morbidity risk for the entire portfolio, hence increasing the value proposition for these institutions. As many of these banks are making the same calculations and feeling the squeeze on their bottom lines from their other asset classes, they have come to this realization collectively, increasing competition for the policies. This helps drive bidding up as well."
Small Is Big:
Recent offers on such policies has been phenomenal in most cases. SFL is looking for policies ranging from $500,000 and up and has qualified buyers for these policies as well. The last 60 days have seen a lot more money moving into the secondary market and at least for now, this trend towards purchasing smaller policies seems to be a moneymaker for clients and advisors.
Settlements For Life is engaged in actively pricing policies today. They have seen billions of dollars of face and have the experience to get national clients the best price available on the market. SFL has unique money sources and can regularly beat out the biggest brokers in the marketplace.
Tertiary Market (Portfolios):
Settlements For Life is also looking for large portfolios on behalf of several buyers, with funds immediately available for purchase.
