MADRID (MarketWatch) -- Swiss Life Holding (ch:slhn) was cut to underperform from neutral on Thursday by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which said market expectations are ignoring the fall-out effects of last year's turmoil. The investment bank said the valuation premium of 17% against its peers is unjustified, and its 2009 to 2011 earnings expectations are 43% and 36% below wide-ranging market estimates. Shares were last down 3.1% to 89.40 Swiss francs.
