The 2009 Broker Summit offers an opportunity to join innovative life insurance professionals at round tables and help mold the future of the life settlement industry. Industry experts will address hot topics such as best practice models, licensing requirements, forms, reporting, and disclosures, among other issues.
The 2009 Industry Services Forum is designed to bring a higher focus to companies providing services vital to the life settlement industry. Attendees can learn how life settlement companies are using a network of service providers to become more efficient, compliant, and excel in the marketplace. This forum will include discussion panels on tax issues, securities law, privacy/HIPAA, industry data collection, and licensing and registration of service providers.
"The LISA Board of Directors is actively addressing current industry issues," says Doug Head, LISA Executive Director. "Events such as the Broker Summit and the Industry Services Forum provide industry players the ideal environment to voice their concerns and discuss ideas to help develop a more efficient market and better serve consumers. No interested party should miss out on this unique opportunity."
The Broker Summit on August 7th is open to LISA members and non-members alike. This all-day event will be held at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando.
The Industry Services Forum on August 28th is also open to LISA members and non-members alike.
