The AMBG closed Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 793.33 (+0.88%). Of the 15 A.M. Best stock indexes, 14 rose and one declined. Leading A.M. Best's Global Insurance Composite Index (AMBG) were Conseco (+22.01%) and Insure.com (+16.24%). Trailing the list of global insurance stocks were 21st Century Holding Co. (-3.51%) and National Interstate Corp. (-2.92%).
