Big Three Insurers Sep. Life Insurance Premium up 17.8%

The three are China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 601628 and SEHK: 2628), Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. (SHSE: 601318 and SEHK: 2318) and China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (CPIC and SHSE: 610601), and the figure they achieved in September touched CNY 43,2 billion, representing a yearly rise of 17.8 percent.
The premium revenue China Life, the biggest life insurer in the country, obtained last month hit CNY 26.6 billion, surging 13.7 percent from a year ago and changing the situation of suffering a negative growth for consecutive six months. That captured by CPIC was CNY 6.34 billion, up 21.86 percent year on year and changing the situation of suffering a negative growth for consecutive 11 months.
