Pacific Life Insurance Company achieved across-the-board gains in sales rankings for the second quarter of 2009, according to LIMRA International. The company ranked number one in indexed universal life (IUL), variable universal life (VUL) and survivorship VUL insurance sales.(1)
Pacific Life Insurance Company's Pacific Indexed Accumulator III(2) was also the industry's top-selling IUL product for Q2 2009, according to LifeSpecs.(3)
"Our number one ranking in IUL insurance sales is a significant achievement since we entered this market just four years ago," said Alyce Peterson, vice president of marketing services for the Life Insurance Division of Pacific Life. "We are pleased that this newest product line appeals to buyers who want some of the upside potential of the equities markets even without direct participation. Plus the minimum interest rate floors built into our IUL products help give the buyers extra comfort."
IUL and VUL insurance policies provide death benefits that can help protect families and businesses from the unexpected. Peterson pointed out that IUL's indexed accounts and VUL's variable investment options offer clients a greater potential for higher policy accumulated values.
"Our IUL products offer a choice of three indexed accounts, and our VUL products offer 58 variable investment options. In addition, clients can use our Portfolio Optimization service to simplify the diversification of the accumulated cash value in their VUL policies," Peterson said.
Life insurance professionals can learn more about opportunities for their clients through Pacific Life's top-selling IUL and VUL insurance products by contacting their Pacific Life representative or calling 866-722-9555.
