Hainan Airlines forms joint venture with Shin Kong Life Insurance

Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd., a China-based airline company, has formed a joint venture with Shin Kong Life Insurance Co., Ltd., a Taiwan-based life insurance company.
The joint venture, named Shin Kong & HNA Life Insurance, will provide life insurance, health insurance, accident insurance and related reinsurance products in China.
Hainan Airlines and Shin Kong will each invest CNY250 million ($36.6 million) in the joint venture.
